thankfuls

i literally drove around last week looking for branches...
not so much luck... finding random limbs on public property.
ha!
it's been an interesting thing... not being able to just walk outside and clip something.
weird feeling.
with no branches and our good 'ol ladder being in storage...
i decided to go with what i had.
remember the big frame i dug out?

i've used chicken wire before in loose frames...
while strolling down the "wire" isle though... at lowes... i saw the garden/cage rolls...
"hey... i like that"...
"why not"...
so this time... i went the galvanized rectangles route.

painted the frame a fresh avocado...
cut the wire to size...
and nailed it into place on the back side...
wah-lah...
a spot to pin our thankfuls!

Lord knows we are so very grateful...
not just in november... but eAcH and eVeRy day.

why we love though...
why we do it...
it gets us sharing our daily thoughts by actually taking note.
big & small...
it's amazing to see them add up... fill in... and grow.
and the girls... well... they look forward this fun tradition every year.
a gift... blessing... all in itself!

i adore seeing how they think... what they come up with.
the pride on their faces... making each one.

sure brings me joy too.
shines a light on all the good.
helps me remember... not only the gifts & blessings of today...
but how each new day holds even more promise...
more "thankfuls"...
we get to count.

hope today finds you seeing & feeling all the good sprinkled about.
taking note of all those blessings under foot.
