i sometimes do!

why didn’t i think of that…
wow her design is really neat… i want that…
how did she make that…
how did she do that…
i wish i had one of those…
she sure has lots of readers…
i wish i had a bigger following like that …
i want her hair…
oh i want those boots
wow look at that… oh look at those… gosh i wish…
………

i think it is natural…
we want to be loved… want to be witty… smart… clever… pretty… creative…
but i find when i am in a “comparing mood”…
i leave no room inside of me…
no room to grow…
no room to reflect within myself…
to BE who i might be.

sort of like picking out a pumpkin.
there are SO many!
i find it truly amazing HOW unique each one.

the other day i tried to find a pair… you know for symmetry…
it’s HARD…
you can’t find two exactly the same!
they’re all different.

i finally grabbed one that looked good.
not perfect…
some things about it could be better.
it was too small…
had quite a few imperfections…
and frankly it just was not the perfect pumpkin i had in mind.

but i grabbed it…
brought it home…
and you know…
i think she’ll work!

i’m going to work with her…
look at all the pretty things about her…
after all she has a really good stem…
and i just know she’s FULL of really good seeds!

i do love that we are ALL truly unique… truly beautiful inside & out…
JUST the pick…
JUST the right one…
the perfect pumpkin WE should BE!
